Frequently Asked Questions About Wetherledge



 Q. How many people do you accommodate?
 A. Up to 300 guests.


Q. How much is required to hold a date?
A.  50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date. The remaining balance would be   due 60 days prior to the event date.



Q. Is there an additional fee to hold the wedding ceremony?
A. There is No additional fee for the ceremony.



Q. Is parking included with a rental?
A. We make arrangements for parking at Fort Wetheral.
     Valet Services for your guests are optional.

Q. Can we have live music or a DJ ?
     Are there any sound ordnance's or a set time we need to stop the music at   Wetherledge.
A. Yes we welcome live music and DJ/s.
     Because Wetherledge is behind Fort Wetheral  your music will not 

     disturb any of the Jamestown neighbors.

Q. Is there an area for the bridal party to refresh?
A. Yes the restrooms in the house are for the Bridal Party and Parents.
     You will need to rent a Portapotty for your guests.

Q. Are candles and luminarys allowed?
A. Yes But they must be in glass or covered containers.

Q. What kind of Tent should we order?
A. The Back yard Fits 50 x 60 Tent perfectly. Depending on the size of your group and

     how  much dance space you want the size will vary.  Dance floors and Full flooring
     are also available.

Q. What Kind of Lighting will we need for the tent?
A. B Lights or Christmas tree lights around the perimeter will give you enough ambit light
     for  a 50 x 60 Tent.

Q. Are tables and chairs included in the rental?
A. No you will need to Rent these many times the catering company's Can do this for you.

Q. Can we bring our own Alcoholic and serve our own food?
A. Alcoholic beverages and Cuisine must be served by an establishment that

     possesses a valid  Class P Liquor Catering License and the  
     appropriate insurance coverage.

Q.  Will there be someone to help facilitate and coordinate our wedding?
A.  No There will be Wetherledge Staff to direct your guests where to find 

      bathrooms,  Parking Ect. We do suggest you hire a wedding planner that
      will be on site through out your event to support and direct the
      personal plans you have developed for your wedding.
